Tara Ryan Nutritional Therapist, DipNT, mNTOI

Tara is a Registered Nutritional Therapist with a clear focus on understanding and treating  the root cause of health issues. 

Tara applies an evidence-based approach to help clients optimise their overall health and vitality through nutrition.  Tara’s goal is to optimise diet, not just to prevent disease and illness but to improve overall vitality in their daily lives.

Tara’s interest in nutrition grew from a lifelong interest in food and learned through personal experience how food can impact on overall health and vitality. Tara has a keen interest in cooking, trying out new recipes and using food to support both physical and mental health and wellbeing.

Tara’s particular areas of interest include:

  • Women’s health including PMS, supporting healthy pregnancy, optimise hormone balance, menopause as well as positive ageing.
  • Digestive health and supporting a healthy gut. Helping clients overcome common digestive issues such as Reflux, heartburn, bloating, IBS and food intolerances.
  • Supporting clients with obesity, insulin resistance and Diabetes Type 2. 
  • Meal planning to achieve optimum health - an area of particular benefit in current times as we all strive to support a strong immune system, manage stress and anxiety and achieve a healthy BMI.

Venetia understands the benefit of the holistic approach to health and wellness, having previously worked in both human resources and business coaching. 

As a Nutritional Therapist, she has specific interests in food sensitivities and intolerances, chronic gastrointestinal disorders and weight management. Venetia’s approach is to work with clients holistically, supporting them by applying the science of nutrition but taking each individual’s diet and lifestyle into account. She uses functional testing where indicated, including the latest PCR tests for gastrointestinal health and microbiome profiling.
