Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) compliments the body’s natural healing processes. Craniosacral is a gentle , hands on manual therapy that releases tension deep in the body to relieve pain, dysfunction and improve overall health.

Eoin was born in Dublin in 1983. Eoin's professional background has been in the area of social care and youth work, mainly working with homeless youth in Dublin City.

He developed an interest in the areas of spirituality and meditation and since 2014 he has attended meditation centres in Ireland, Australia, Switzerland, Thailand and Myanmar.

In 2017 Eoin trained as a .B practitioner to deliver Mindfulness courses for young people aged 11-18.

Between 2017-2018 Eoin spent most of his time focusing on meditation, spirituality and inner knowledge. He volunteered in Wellness Communities in Myanmar and Thailand, while also attending long meditation retreats. It was while completing this journey that Eoin received Craniosacral treatments and then sought out a skilled teacher so he could be trained himself in this technique, with the intention of bringing a technique that allows for healing and wellness to all beings that are suffering.

A healthy function of the brain and the central nerve system is dependent on a non-disturbance and tension free mechanism of the Craniosacral system. If the cranial bones are not able to adapt the permanent changing of the movement from the membranes or the membranes itself is contracted, it could be that you will find different kinds of physical and psychological symptoms.
W. G. Sutherland (USA) discovered in the 1920s that the cranium bones make rhythmical movements, which continue to the sacrum. He developed techniques with which he influence this system. He was always talking about “Inner breath”. Today we call his work cranial osteopathy.
